Evangelion XR Game “EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS” Now in Development
Share

The Evangelion franchise is expanding beyond animation with a new XR (Extended Reality) game project.
Titled EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS, the game is currently in development and aims to deliver a fully immersive experience using VR (Virtual Reality) and MR (Mixed Reality) technologies.
Rather than a simple spin-off, the project is positioned as a new narrative set within the original anime’s timeline.
Players will experience the world of Evangelion from a first-person perspective, exploring locations such as Tokyo-3 and NERV-related facilities while engaging with events rooted in the series’ established universe.
A Trilogy-Based XR Project Grounded in the TV Series Canon

“EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS” is planned as a three-part (trilogy) XR project, with the first installment set during the early story arc of the original Neon Genesis Evangelion TV series.
The game is expected to feature:
· Iconic locations and settings from the anime
· XR-adapted combat and story-driven events
· Original story elements that complement the existing canon without disrupting it
The project is being developed by XR-focused studio Pixelity Inc., and has entered a stage that includes focus group testing and user feedback.
A playable demo is scheduled to be released in the first half of 2026, offering fans an early look at the game’s direction and gameplay experience.
At this stage, no official release date or platform details have been announced.
Further information is expected to be revealed through future official updates.
