BACK TO NEON GENESIS Heads to Osaka, Tokyo

Evangelion’s first live cinematic concert

BACK TO NEON GENESIS is officially presented as the first concert in the Evangelion series designed to be experienced together with video.

The show combines a specially edited selection of scenes from the anime with live orchestral performance by The Studio Legends Orchestra, centered around musicians who originally took part in recording Evangelion’s soundtrack 30 years ago.

All performances are conducted by Shiro SAGISU, with Yoko Takahashi appearing as guest singer for all main performances.

A full version performance arriving this spring

After its premiere event version at EVANGELION:30+; in Yokohama Arena, the concert is returning this spring in a more complete format. According to the official description, songs that had to be cut from the Yokohama version due to time limits will be included in the Osaka and Tokyo performances.

The remaining dates are March 28, 2026 at Grand Cube Osaka and April 19, 2026 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A.

Ticket prices are listed as ¥12,000 for S seats and ¥11,000 for A seats, and every ticket includes an acrylic stand featuring the concert title logo.

Official concert goods including a T-shirt, tote bag, muffler towel, acrylic keyholder, and sticker have also been announced for venue sales. For fans looking for an Evangelion event that feels more like a real performance than a typical anniversary promotion, this is easily one of the strongest highlights on the current schedule.
